Effective 5 August 2026. InterviewOS processes account details, resumes, job descriptions, interview answers, evaluation results, usage, and billing records to provide the service.
What we collect
We collect information you submit, authentication and security records, provider identifiers, product usage, and operational logs. Optional browser dictation submits only the reviewed transcript and basic duration, word-count, and filler-count metrics to InterviewOS; microphone audio is not uploaded or stored by InterviewOS. Your browser's speech-recognition service may process audio under the browser provider's terms. Passwords are stored only as Argon2id hashes. Session, OAuth, and reset secrets are never included in exports or logs.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, isolate personal and company accounts, generate requested AI outputs, enforce usage limits, process payments, prevent abuse, and support users. Resume and interview content is sent only to the configured AI provider when required for a requested feature.
Storage and retention
Documents are stored privately. Account deletion has a recovery period shown in Settings, after which identity data is anonymized and access is revoked. Security and billing records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations.
Your controls
Settings provides machine-readable data export, optional marketing consent, and account deletion requests. Company owners must transfer ownership before deleting their identity.
